Training Fees
FIRST TRIAL LESSON IS FREE
After the free trial session, training fees for the next few weeks, until standing order is set up, will be £6 per lesson. (payable on the night)
1 x lesson per week = £25 per month (payable by standing order at the beginning of each month).
Unlimited training = £35 per month (payable at the beginning of each month by standing order).
Occasional Extra lessons = £6 per session (payable on the night).
NEXT CLUB GRADING
The next grading will be taking place on Sunday 12th April 2026 from 10am to 12 noon
The grade session will be held at the Hillbourne Community Centre, 69 Cavan Crescent. Poole BH17 7EY
All students are welcome to attend the grading, and if you don’t quite feel ready to attempt this one you are welcome to come along and treat it as a test grade, which will help you to prepare for the grading when you do feel ready. Please make sure that your licence is up to date.
If your licence has expired you will NOT be allowed to grade.

SPRING HOLIDAY CLOSEDOWN
I will be taking a short holiday from 20th April to 2nd May 2026, so there will be no training sessions at the Hillbourne club on Tuesday 21st & Tuesday 28th April.
Also, no training at the Blandford club on
Thursday 23rd & Thursday 30th April.
Training resumes at both clubs from Tuesday 5th May.
Lessons are open to all students, Male and Female, regardless of abilty or experience. The only restriction is a lower age limit of 6 years of age. There is no upper age limit, although I would encourage all adults to consult with your GP before joining, just to ensure that you are fit and well enough for the sessions.

Lessons are available on Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, one in Poole and the other in Blandford.
We work to a traditional Wado-ryu syllabus, and hold regular gradings for all students to progress through the various coloured belts .
